Privacy
What this site collects, and what happens to it.
Short version: the only information this website collects is what you type into the enquiry form, and it is used to reply to you. There are no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers on any page.
The longer version is below, because a privacy notice you have to take on trust is not much of a privacy notice.

Who is responsible
MHJ Solutions is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach us at info@mhjsolutions.co.uk about anything on this page, including any of the requests described below.
MHJ Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17273760. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
What is collected
One form on this site collects personal information: the enquiry form at the end of the homepage. It asks for the following, and nothing else.
- What you want to improve, which channels enquiries reach you through, and what you have in place at the moment. These are tick-box answers, not free text.
- Your name and business name, so a reply can be addressed to a person rather than an inbox.
- Your email address, which is how we reply.
- Your phone number, which is optional and only used if you would rather be called than emailed.
- Anything else you choose to write in the notes box. Please do not put anything sensitive in there — it is a free text field on a contact form, not a secure channel.
There is one hidden field on the form that people never see. It exists to catch automated spam. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or remarketing pixels, no session recording and no embedded third-party widgets. Typefaces are served from this site’s own domain rather than a font network, so nothing is requested from another company as you read a page.
That is why there is no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.
Why we are allowed to hold it
When you send an enquiry, we process what you have written on the basis of legitimate interests — you have asked a business a question and it is reasonable to expect an answer. If a conversation turns into a project, the information we hold is then processed to perform a contract with you.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we will not send you marketing you did not ask for.
Nothing you send through this form is scored, ranked or decided automatically. We build systems that do that sort of thing for other businesses, which is exactly why it is worth saying plainly that this one is not: a person reads your enquiry, and a person replies to it.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted once the conversation has clearly finished, and in any case within twelve months. Where an enquiry becomes a project, we keep what we need for as long as we are working together, and afterwards for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes.
What you can ask for
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. You can also ask for it in a portable format.
Email info@mhjsolutions.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month. There is no charge, and you do not have to give a reason.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Data inside systems we build
This page covers this website only. Where we build a CRM or automation system for a business, that business is the controller of its own customer data and we act on its instructions. Those arrangements are covered by a separate agreement, and the data belongs to the business — it is exportable, and it leaves with them.
Changes to this notice
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly revise it and leave the old date in place.
